Disobedience Of Unjust Laws Is The Foundation of Liberty

A true crime is one, which involves a victim and a victimizer. There must be a clear violation of a person’s self ownership or property right, the most basic of which constitutes theft, assault, rape, and murder. These rudimentary universal concepts are capable of being understood by any toddler with the phrases “It’s mine.”, “I had it first”, and “He hit me.” It does not require hundreds of thousands of pages in the federal register to delineate these most basic principles. Indeed one of the most blatant ironies is the State claims to be the necessary element to secure peace and justice in the land whereas it is the State that is the perpetrator of the most egregious violations of civil and human liberties in all of recorded history. No private criminal can ever compare with the State in this regard.

The vast majority of prisoners unjustly held in prison are for non-violent offenses such for drug possession and tax evasion. Indeed one may gauge what the State deems as the most appalling crime by what it punishes the most severely.

When one is confronted with a State attempting to forcefully impose unjust laws whimsically dictated by political parasites it becomes the moral duty of the virtuous and noble to resist such tyranny to the best of one’s ability. When our political masters can fabricate laws with a pen stroke, the law loses all validity and becomes merely the tool wielded by megalomaniacs to carry out their twisted will.

If you wish to have a peaceful and just world, rule yourself and raise your children with a firm moral compass. The only law you should obey is your own conscience.

Unconditional Obedience Betrays Human Nature

Can obedience ever be used as an instrument of good? Is it always bad? Obedience is defined as obeying without thought or question. It is supplanting one’s faculties of reason and logic for that of another. It is prostrating oneself before the will of another. The moment one disobeys an order from authority based on a moral or logical dilemma the trance is broken. This represents the quintessence of what it means to be human. Human beings are unique in the animal kingdom in that we have a prefrontal cortex of the brain that allows for complex cognitive behavior, problem solving, logic, reasoning, and decision making. We are born to be independent and unique beings.

True unconditional obedience is one of the most destructive forces the world has ever seen. It turns free thinking independent human beings into mindless automatons. These automatons are very useful to rulers as tools to carry to fruition, without question, their wickedness. Without a legion of obedient followers at their beck and call, the evils of the State could never have been realized. Unflinching obedience is the foundation that forms the linchpin to any expanding imperialistic Nation State. Break the obedient trance of the State enforcers and you will cripple the might of any speciously invincible nation State.

Peaceful Parenting is Nourishing and Rejuvenating to the Soul of Parent and Child

Some people, upon discovering that we homeschool/unschool comment “Oh I could never do that! You are so brave to be with your kids all day! I need a break!”

This betrays the harsh authoritarian parenting that most parents utilize to lord over their children. When employing such a domineering parenting style it is perfectly understandable for this to become thoroughly exhausting, welcome relief coming from giving their kids to the State for raising at government school. This is not the relationship of a loving parent who wants the best for his/her child, but rather that of a master who orders his slave about and demands unconditional obedience without question.

If you wish your child to learn the skills of logic, reasoning, compassion, kindness, gentleness, and love then these attributes must be modeled. The child views the parents as the first examples of human beings to emulate. Which principles and values do you wish to instill in your progeny? Act and think in such a manner as you wish your child to act and think and it will be so. No force and coercion is required, indeed the application of such contemptible methods would only destroy the delicate bond between parent and child. Cultivate with care the minds of your children for they will inhabit the world of tomorrow. Through peaceful parenting let us create a world full of logical, rational, compassionate, kind, gentle, and loving human beings that would be the profound envy of our forefathers.

Automation Helps Human Beings to Achieve Dizzying Heights of Prosperity

My friend is a software engineer. He is fixed bugs and tests software. He told me his company is actively trying to create programs to test software so he and his fellow programmers can be free to creatively explore new ways to improve the efficiency and output of the company. Why would they be purposely trying to replace themselves with machines? It seems counterintuitive and counterproductive.

For time immemorial technology and machines have supplanted backbreaking human labor and made it incalculably more productive. Just 100 years ago human beings struggled to support a little over a billion people on Earth. With successful automation we are currently able to comfortably support 7.7 billion human souls. This speaks to the unmistakable success in humans to master their environment such that we are thriving in ways it was scarcely conceivable 100 years ago.

Many Luddites and proponents of the green eco movement view technology, automation, and by extension human beings as being a bane on planet Earth. We are living during the safest, cleanest, and most luxurious time in human history, thanks in large part to human ingenuity. It is not about creating or destroying jobs, rather it is about creating or destroying wealth. Only freethinking and creative human beings could produce such miracles. Do not mutilate the hand that feeds you.
