Mark Corske: Engines of Domination and the Human Emergency

Please enjoy my recent interview with Anarchist philosopher Mark Corske, author of “Engines of Domination” and assistant creator of the documentary “Mark Corske’s Engines of Domination”. Herein we discuss how he became an Anarchist, growing up in McCarthyism, experiencing the Cold War, how he came to write his book, how political power is a tool used by the ruling class to dominate, the various human emergencies, the belief in the myth of authority, where political power originates, what gives teeth to political edicts and mandates, thought control in “government”, can tyranny occur in a Stateless Society, Peter Schiff challenging the Occupy Wall Street protesters and much more!

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies.

Debate I: Danilo Cuellar (Anarcho-Capitalism) vs. John Cymerman (Direct Democracy)

Please enjoy my recent debate I conducted with John Cymerman, an old high school friend and fellow chess player. I am defending Anarcho-Capitalism and he is defending Direct Democracy or the necessity of “government” itself. Herein we discussed what is “government”, what is Democracy, where does power originate, is the lust for power part of human nature, the imperfections of checks and balances, the conflicting interests of the three branches of “government”, difference between democracy and dictatorship, what is an economy, how self-interest serves society, is Voluntaryism naïve, what is democide, the chain of obedience, what is sovereign immunity, what is the belief in the myth of authority, the modern day religion of Statheism, is taxation theft or voluntary, was chain slavery a function of “government” or private enterprise, is chain slavery an efficient business model and much more!

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it–always.” ― Mahatma Gandhi
