I Think Therefore I Am Dangerous

i-think-therefore-i-am-dangerous

Voluntaryism and Anarchy include leaders and voluntary organizations/groups. These entities are all consensual and voluntary therefore they are perfectly consistent with these principles. These institutions do not diminish the importance of individual human rights. If it is harmful for the individual it is automatically harmful for the institution. The individual always comes first. Such institutions claim no rights that the individual does not first possess.

Once you have an entity, such as “government”, that uses force or aggression to achieve it’s ends this is when the situation becomes distorted and mutates into the darker side of human relations known as politics and man-made law. This is when collectivist group think sets in and the people lose sight of their individuality and their moral conscience. This is the birth of legal plunder. This is the ideal climate for such destructive and counter productive notions as nationalism, patriotism, democracy, republic, communism, socialism etc. It is easier to hate people when you group them into a particular faceless herd than if you strive to understand the particular circumstances of each individual. To generalize large groups of people is to insult the individuals in those groups. If it is harmful for the individual, it is harmful for society.

Thinking is difficult, that’s why most people judge.

Voluntary Interaction Is The Highest Ideal

hand-shake-guns-pointing-at-each-other-this-is-not-capitalism

Man-made law is arbitrary and whimsical. It is the sociopath’s creation and therefore has no realistic bearing on the practical lives of men. It only reflects the fundamental desire for the few to control, plunder, and subjugate the many. Legality is diametrically opposed to morality. A man-made law is an arbitrary threat backed by violence. A law is an opinion backed by a gun. A few hundred or a thousand people cannot effectively legislate a utopia for millions of diverse individuals; often their efforts bring about the exact opposite.

Whereas Voluntaryism/Anarchy recognizes that there exists the basic Laws of Morality/Common Law/Natural Law/Golden Rule. These were not created by anyone but are commonly understood by all. We live by these when we interact with our friends and family. Such laws are immutable and inviolable. When they are violated we all intimately understand the consequences. No capricious enforcement of these consequences is necessary. The definition of a law is its universality.  They were discovered, not created. They include the laws of mathematics, law of chemistry, laws of planetary motion, and laws of physics. Anarchy is the beautiful spontaneous order that arises out of the voluntary trade between peaceful individuals.

Those who cannot voluntarily interact with their fellow human beings appeal to the guns of the State to solve their problems. Those who will not compete voluntarily in the market place of ideas become enamored with the State. Those who seek to subjugate their fellow man under the guise of representing him become politicians. No man is fit rule to over another. Anyone who claims to give you security in exchange for your freedom is a clever sophist. Anyone who claims to shower you with “free” gifts in exchange for your allegiance is a thief dealing in stolen loot masquerading as your benevolent friend. The man of virtue seeks to serve his fellow man through voluntary trade and consensual interaction. Anything less would be uncivilized.

Monetary System/Economics Part 1: Currency vs Money

monopoly-money-legal-tender

Understanding the difference between currency vs. money is fundamental to understanding economics. Currency must possess some attributes such as being portable, divisible, fungible, durable, a unit of account, and a medium of exchange. Over the millennia many different substances have been currency such as salt, sugar, spices, wheat, rice, copper, precious stones and gems, nails, cows, spears, axes, exotic bird feathers, beads, certain rocks, shells, lumber, stamps, candy etc. They have all come and gone for various reasons. The market always tends towards more efficient means of currency. This is reverse Gresham’s Law, which stipulates that in a Free Market good money will drive out bad currency. When people are free to choose which currency to transact in, the best and most efficient methods will always rise to the top.

What is natural currency vs. artificial currency? Artificial currency is that which is chosen by the State and mandated by edict and legislation. It is often entirely controlled and manipulated by the State regarding quantity, value, interest rates, borrowing, creation. This complete control of the currency supply is vital to have intimate access to the inner machinations of the market economy. In this way even some individuals and businesses who refuse to pay their tithes AKA taxes or who hide their currency from the State can forcefully have their value extracted via the hidden tax of inflation. This is the pernicious power the State maintains through having a monopoly on currency.

Natural currency is that which is chosen by free and peaceful people to interact in. It is chosen because it has been demonstrated to be of superior value as compared with currencies of the past. The value of currency is its ability to lubricate transactions and facilitate trade. When it no longer effectively serves this function it must and will be summarily abandoned and replaced with a better alternative.

Through this natural market selection of currencies over the millennia, gold and silver have risen to the top in consistently satisfying these criteria. Therefore it has rightfully attained the glorious status of money, which has the additional attribute of being a store of value over long periods of time. Gold and silver are the impenetrable shields used by wise investors to protect their wealth from being plundered by political predators and thieving nation States. This is why they are the enemy of the State. This is why pure gold and silver has always been reserved for the god kings and pharaohs of antiquity and the people have been given toilet paper trash fiat currency to trade in. When currency and money are profoundly understood by the people the violent Statist paradigm will have been largely defanged and disarmed. Do not be afraid of money. It’s power lies at the very kernel of civilization.

Gold is the money of kings, silver is the money of gentlemen, barter is the money of peasants – but debt is the money of slaves.
