Anarchy and Liberty Are Synonymous

There Is No Central Authority For Language or the Internet, Didn't Realize You Were Living In Anarchy, Global Communication Network

“Aren’t the concepts of Liberty and Anarchy diametrically opposed to each other? How do you maintain Liberty in the absolute absence of any laws?”

In the same way that Oligarchy is rule by a few, and Monarchy is rule by one, Anarchy is translated as rule by no one. In this case “ruler” specifically refers to those megalomaniacs who enter into the coercive institution known as the State to vie for the reins of power. The nature of the State is inherently violent and forceful. It is not elegance, it is not brilliance, nor is it sparkling originality. It is an entity that deems it necessary to force its destructive ideas onto a population that becomes proportionately impoverished as a result. If the ideas were so magnificent they would not need to be forced onto anyone, rather the people would willingly embrace them voluntarily. Good ideas do not require force. If your ideas require force, they are worthless.

According to Google the definition of Liberty is “the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one’s way of life, behavior, or political views.” Hence Liberty is entirely consistent with Anarchy. It is the freedom to live one’s life in any manner one so chooses according to the Non-Aggression principle so long as one does not trample on the self-ownership or property rights of another human being. Liberty is the foundation of any truly civilized society. The extent to which it is hindered is the extent to which prosperity and wealth is destroyed. Free men and women do not ask permission.

First Do No Harm

Only Individuals Act, Middle Eastern Man Gives Bath To His Children Kids

Many can recognize when there is injustice in the world. Many can weep for the wickedness being perpetrated on a lesser developed culture by a more technologically advanced culture. It is often plastered on the lame stream news and incessantly written about in the newspapers. Seeing the problem is not difficult. What confuses most people and reveals their lack of true understanding of the problem is when they propose their solutions.

The Hippocratic medical dictum, “First do no harm” does not only apply to medicine. It applies to every facet of life wherein one intends to improve the lives of those around them. It is not enough to want to help. If one’s “help” worsens the lives of individuals then one’s ignorance has committed a grave injustice by worsening the situation. Take care that your desire to help does not result in the opposite of your intended effect. An unintentional immorality is still an immorality nevertheless. If political sophistry is to be taken seriously, then any grotesque democide can be thoroughly justified with the shocking phrase “Well I was just trying to help.”

Advocating for a coercive institution that uses only threats of violence to solve complex social problems is using a gun to fix an iPhone. It is bringing a knife to defeat one’s opponent in a chess match. It is the use of brute force where subtlety and delicacy is called for. The initiation of force is the enemy of all thinking sentient human beings.

Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.

How To Improve The World

It costs $0.00 to be a Decent Human Being

How does one change and improve the world? It is not necessary to invent outrageous things like cars, air conditioning, smart phones, computers, shoes, Google, or the Internet to effectively improve the world. Most people will never invent such magnificent things but that does not mean we are impotent to improve the world in our own little way. Many times all that is required to bring about positive change is to tell a joke, get somebody to laugh, give a hug, lend a compassionate ear to another person’s problems, spend quality time with another person, raise your kids to be gentle, compassionate, kind, and loving human beings. It costs $0.00 to be a decent person.
