Monetary System/Economics Part 1: Currency vs Money

monopoly-money-legal-tender

Understanding the difference between currency vs. money is fundamental to understanding economics. Currency must possess some attributes such as being portable, divisible, fungible, durable, a unit of account, and a medium of exchange. Over the millennia many different substances have been currency such as salt, sugar, spices, wheat, rice, copper, precious stones and gems, nails, cows, spears, axes, exotic bird feathers, beads, certain rocks, shells, lumber, stamps, candy etc. They have all come and gone for various reasons. The market always tends towards more efficient means of currency. This is reverse Gresham’s Law, which stipulates that in a Free Market good money will drive out bad currency. When people are free to choose which currency to transact in, the best and most efficient methods will always rise to the top.

What is natural currency vs. artificial currency? Artificial currency is that which is chosen by the State and mandated by edict and legislation. It is often entirely controlled and manipulated by the State regarding quantity, value, interest rates, borrowing, creation. This complete control of the currency supply is vital to have intimate access to the inner machinations of the market economy. In this way even some individuals and businesses who refuse to pay their tithes AKA taxes or who hide their currency from the State can forcefully have their value extracted via the hidden tax of inflation. This is the pernicious power the State maintains through having a monopoly on currency.

Natural currency is that which is chosen by free and peaceful people to interact in. It is chosen because it has been demonstrated to be of superior value as compared with currencies of the past. The value of currency is its ability to lubricate transactions and facilitate trade. When it no longer effectively serves this function it must and will be summarily abandoned and replaced with a better alternative.

Through this natural market selection of currencies over the millennia, gold and silver have risen to the top in consistently satisfying these criteria. Therefore it has rightfully attained the glorious status of money, which has the additional attribute of being a store of value over long periods of time. Gold and silver are the impenetrable shields used by wise investors to protect their wealth from being plundered by political predators and thieving nation States. This is why they are the enemy of the State. This is why pure gold and silver has always been reserved for the god kings and pharaohs of antiquity and the people have been given toilet paper trash fiat currency to trade in. When currency and money are profoundly understood by the people the violent Statist paradigm will have been largely defanged and disarmed. Do not be afraid of money. It’s power lies at the very kernel of civilization.

Gold is the money of kings, silver is the money of gentlemen, barter is the money of peasants – but debt is the money of slaves.

Voting And Elections Are A Farce

voting-election-democracy-republican-flathead-democrat-philips-screw-you-have-no-choice

It is that time when the subjects are given the illusion to ritualistically choose who will sit on the throne of power and utilizes various political euphemisms and hackneyed platitudes as justification to carry out violence and threats of violence against peaceful people in all the manifestations approved by the vulgar masses for the next 4 years. If this did not affect me directly and my family I would keep quiet and mind my business. As this is an issue concerning the actions of the most coercive monopoly on violence of the land, namely the gang known as the U.S. Federal government, I am compelled to speak my mind.

My brothers and sisters, you need to stop legitimizing the desperate attempts of these sick sociopaths to sit on the throne. Their power is illusory but their effects are not when they are awarded legitimacy. It always rests on the consent and approval of the governed. Once the people realize that their participation in this farce is what causes and creates the most abominable evil in the world, there will be unleashed a supernova of peace and splendor, the likes of which the world has never witnessed. Power not only corrupts, but also attracts the corruptible. It is not that some are unfit to rule. All are unfit to rule. Vacate the State.

Voting, the be all and end all of modern democratic politicians, has become a farce, if indeed it was ever anything else. By voting, the people decide only which of the oligarchs preselected for them as viable candidates will wield the whip used to flog them and will command the legion of willing accomplices and anointed lickspittles who perpetrate the countless violations of the people’s natural rights. Meanwhile, the masters soothe the masses by assuring them night and day that they — the plundered and bullied multitudes who compose the electorate — are themselves the government.

The War On Addicted People

drug-use-in-the-praire-vs-human-abuse-in-prison

The War on Drugs should more aptly be called the War on Addicted People. It is not the plants that get thrown in jail; rather it is the people. It is another example of nanny “government” attempting to legislate morality at the point of a gun “for our own good”. How can this be true if the effects of smoking weed are infinitesimal as compared to the heinous lengths that “government” will go to rob, assault, choke, and cage an adult mentally aware human being for possessing the prohibited leaf or flower? Vices are not crimes.

In one sense the War on Drugs is as much of a failure as the Alcohol Prohibition of the 1920s since they both created massive underground black markets, dangerous cartels, mafias, political bribery, and fostered gang violence. In another sense its a smashing success in that the sociopaths at the helm of “government” know full well that this would be the result and so it only further validates its exponential expansion. It is the self-licking ice cream cone that is “government” desperately trying to prove its relevance. It is pitiful and disgusting. Please people, understand that laws, taxes, and regulations do nothing but make life for the industrious that much more onerous.

Good men do not need laws to know how to behave and evil men will always find ways around the laws.
